The last year brought a lot of both pleasant and unpleasant moments, there were a lot of unexpected covers and unusual decisions. Let me tell you a couple of words about the biggest scandals of 2008:
The following scandal was revealed just a few days after John McCain made Sarah Palin his running mate for the presidential campaign. It was announced that Palin’s 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, was pregnant.
Britney Spears
The pop star had one of the most exciting years ever and it started on the 3d of January when she was taken to Medical Center, then Brit was banned to see her sons and her father, Jamie, became her conservator. But Britney turned to be a tough nut to crack and she successfully coped with all these problems.
I guess it was one of the darkest parts of the past year and it would be the darkest part of Mary-Kate’s life. A masseuse found Heath Ledger’s body on Jan. 22 in his own flat and she spent approx.10 minutes making calls to Mary-Kate Olsen. She still didn’t provide the world with a reasonable explanation.
Political Prostitution
The scandal around Eliot Spitzer misuse of funds was hot and it lead to awful aftermaths – he lost his post and turned to be a client of the prostitution service.
Miley Cyrus photos in the June 2008 issue of Vanity Fair were a real shock. Reaction of fans and ordinary people was awful and fierce, they called those shots – pornography.
Topless date
Sienna Miller was involved in one of the dirtiest scandals of the year – she was noticed dating with the still-married Balthazar Getty and on some of their trysts she was topless.
